Many times we try to build relationships without the proper permits and acknowledgments that only God can give.
We end up investing everything into the construction of these relationships, without the permits to do so.
You see, God had already surveyed the land of which you desired to build upon and had already deemed it hazardous,
the land would bear no fruit. Regardless of even the blatant warnings, we in our rebellious nature always "know best".
We deny all signs given that reinforced that building a relationship that would consume all resources was not a an idea
we should pursue. Even when we "felt" it would be a prosperous and fulfilling venture. Eventually once we've invested
it all, with nothing more to give, we finally see, there has been no return on the investment. Frustrated, confused,
weary, and simply baffled about what went wrong, we fall into a deep depression. After all we did do everything "right", didn't we?
We used quality materials when building, we invested as much time and love into it as humanly possible, and we sacrificed so
much to make it a strong construction. It still collapsed regardless of all the effort. In the end, once all the tears have dried,
we can finally see and realized that the foundation we built upon was on sandy ground. It could not hold anything firmly for too long.
If the foundation isn't firmly built, it will not hold up. Then as the dust settles from the collapse, we can finally see Him with
arms wide open waiting to comfort us.
He knows how you feel, He was the only one with you through the entirety of it all. The reason your tears stopped was because
He was silently wiping them away. The hope that comes after the hopelessness that fills you after every tragic moment in your life
is His unconditional love. He doesn't require your love to ease your pain, in fact we end up loving Christ, because He first loved us.
For some, one experience is enough to realize the mistakes and learn from them. For others however, their scars are mended enough
to move forward, but simply return to the exact same cycle. Some confuse stubbornness with perseverance. Jesus Christ will always
be there in the good and the bad. Let him lead and all that you build will be strong and prosperous.

Admin Away
Dear group, I'll be offline for a few days, til May 8 at the latest. My Android bit the dust and I'm going to use a basic flip phone until my new one arrives. If you submit things while I'm gone, it will probably expire before i can accept it. Have a good weekend.

Well Shoot
I was hoping to open up journal-writing to all members, to save me the time of posting everyone's announcements, but I don't have the power to do that in Manage Members.
So the latest announcement: from ~Roamer13 (https://www.deviantart.com/roamer13)
A friend of mine has written a comic about animal rights. He is currently working on raising money to be able to publish the four volume story. I was hoping that you would be willing to share the kickstarter with all the members of this group. There are about two weeks left but he is incredibly close to his goal and I think it would be pretty awesome to have a comic like this out there. Thank you!
